what is a stream of consciousness?
1. a literary technique that presents the thoughts and feelings of a character as they occur
2. the conscious experience of an individual regarded as a continuous, flowing series of images and ideas running through the mind

During the first week of grade 9, they made us write letters to ourselves, that they would give back to us when we were at the end of grade 12.
It seemed so far away then, but it’s grade 12 now, and I can’t remember what I had written. 4 months 4 months 4 months only 4 months and I’ll get to read the letter from my fourteen-year old self.
I’m scared and excited to see how much I’ve changed.
