Just because something is concisely put or well written it doesn’t make it true. A phrase or sentiment jumps out at you and you exult it and cry out: “Yes. This is what I must embrace! The enunciation of that which, up until this point, has eluded me in expression, but which has always been alive in the back of my mind!”
But are you sure about that? Are you certain you haven’t been deceived by some trickery of the subconscious? Who are you to say that what someone else says is the solitary truth? Do you even fully believe the word games you play, or are you a mindless player going wherever Coach tells you to?
I call bullshit. Life isn’t about mottos and morals and words to live by; it’s about figuring things out for yourself, and not subscribing to a complete system of thought because an impromptu string of sound resonated upon your ear drums.
